Central Park
There is hardly a better place to relax and to forget everything negative than Central Park. Even in the days after September 11 I could find peace in the Park.
Directly after entering you will forget that you are in one of the most hectic and noisiest cities of the world. The trees, the shrubs, the green fields, the whole atmosphere - they just take control over you. I let the Park control me voluntarily. I could spend weeks in it.
And of course Central Park is not the only place in New York that invites you for a 'walk in the park'.
