The usual suspects, you could say, if you watch the pictures of the night. And it is really the blue hour between sunset and darkness where it's absolutely fantastic to be in the Westminster or Tower area.
The photographs in this gallery were actually shot on one evening - for lack of more time (I had to see a few musicals the other nights). Which put me under quite some stress. I began (on a beautiful may evening) around 7 p.m. on the London Bridge. The evening light was reflected golden in the windows and there was a perfect cloud formation hovering over Tower Bridge. It does look like a UFO, doesn't it? A long walk to the Tower Bridge and back followed. Afterwards I hurried back to Westminster, in order to catch the ferris wheel and the Big Ben before it was too dark.
