If you just spend time in front of Buckingham Palace, walk Charing Cross Road for books and along the river, you might miss the most beautiful parts of London - the parks. Their number goes into the hundreds. Small parks, just one street block and then in all different sizes up to Hyde Park or St. James.
All pictures in this gallery were taken on one (the one with bearable weather) morning in St. James Park. Although I have to admit that I spend more time watching the inhabitants of the park than the park itself. I will catch up on that the next time...
But the pelicans, ducks and squirrels - and above all the little swans - are worth wasting time and film. Are they not?
