South Africas predators
Before the complaints start coming in: yes, in this gallery there are also animals, who don't hunt down other species and who do not belong to the carnivores. But I had to divide the pictures and somehow this seemed to be the best way. Animals, you will respect automatically due to their size or their hunting behavior.
The pictures originate from Kruger Nationalpark. Unfortunately for me on these days what the sun liked most was to hide behind thick layers of clouds, but nevertheless I could not do the South Africa galleries without these photos. By the way: My absolute favourite is the cheetah, beautiful and dangerous. We saw the speed the cheetah can run with for a short while - it is breath-taking...

As said before: my favourite animal (at least my favorite cat). Beauty and danger - a chilling combination.

A brilliant experience: the grey giant came to our car and walked around it - without recognizing us at all

One of many. Unfortunately without the sun and so with only little contrast

This young lady is just before beginning of puberty. I guess even at this young age she is quite impressive
