Boston, after 10 days of nature back in the city. The beginning was not very promising. First we were locked in a traffic jam, then it rained the whole night and in the morning my stuff was more then wet. The campground belonged to the worst of the whole journey and it just didn't want to stop to rain.
In Boston we marched along the Freedomtrail. W.M. wanted to explore the U.S.S. Constitution - closed. Then we wanted to enter the monument - closed. Then we wanted to climb the Hancock Building - closed. And it still rained.
And after a bit of shopping (Harry Potter Hardcover for me, thanks) something marvelous happened. The rain stopped and not only that, the clouds cleared too. The rain had sucked the heat from air and made way for a wonderful evening. Well, thats the reason Boston remains in my memory not only as a lost day.
