I will always remember Montana (at least first of all) as the State, where my expensive, oh soooo great Minolta Dynax 800si refused to work anymore. After two years and just 80 films it thought 'now it's enough' and turned itself of every time I tried to turn it on. Just great, isn't it.
What to do? Well, first of all I was in a really rotten mood the whole day. Specially because it was one of the best days of the vacation and I could't take any pictures. The walk we took in Glacier Nationalpark was more then spectacular. Fortunately, for the helicopterflight we treated ourselves with in the afternoon, Jim the pilot was able to lend me an old camera. And fortunately it took some really good pictures.
1.-6. Glacier Flight
As told above. Great stuff, helicopter flights
7. Careful
Suddenly this rather big fellow crossed the road. We were daring enough to leave the
bus in order to take pictures, but when he looked at us we went back rather quickly.
For safety's sake
8. Flight
I admit, you might not see it in the thumbnail, but over the flowers a small bird
is hovering
9. Wide country
Inevitably I had to think about the film 'Dances with wolves'. Can you imagine how
the scenery must have looked with 2000 buffalos?
