To write long stories about Eiffel Tower would be like carrying owls to Athen. Or coals to Newcastle. There has almost nothing not be said about the tower, no way of shooting the tower with a camera has not been used. From below, from Trocadero, from marsfield. In daylight, at night, in the blue hour.
And that was the charm for me. Beside two images from the year 1989, the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution with fireworks display, in 2004 I have tried to get at least unusual pictures from one of the most useless and most faszinating buildings in the world.
The difference between 1989 and 2004 shows me by the way, how old I've gotten. Oh my....

Usual and unusual views of the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero and Marsfield
9. 2004 - dawn
The horseman in front of Trocadero
10.-14. 2004 - night
Trocadero has been 'americanized' - but I like it
