In this gallery you will find: the rest of it. Places, buidings, fountains, anything that didn't fit in one of the other galleries. Which isn't meant disrespectful, of course.
I guess, my favorite place of the lot is the Strawinski-Fountain. It's just fun to watch the fountain and the people around it.
1. Opera
Ludwig van Beethoven, one of countless details at the old opera house
2. Contrast
Kill Bill vs. Opera - more contrast in one image is just not possible
3. Palais Royal
Rejected by the Parisiens at first - in the meantime ascended to the object of interest:
the artwork in the inner court of the Palais Royal
4. Playful
I like the contrast between tradition and modern world
5. Eustache
The church directly opposite Les Halles. In the church - among others - Richelieu and
Moliere are buried
6. Les Halles
One of the roofs which span the gardens of Les Halles
7-9. Bastille
One of the buildings developed in the era Mitterrand: the new opera house at the Place de
la Bastille...
10. Library
... followed by the next building, which carries his name as well. Bibliotheque Mitterrand...
The only downside: the building sinks into the ground a few millimeters every year
11. Light
View to the Eiffel Tower from a bridge crossing the Seine
12. Dome
The golden dome of the hotel of the Invalides
13. Townroof
The Hotel de Ville
14. Les Halles (2)
Detail at the commerce temple
15. Roof
Beautiful housing situation at the edge of the Jardin du Luxembourg
16. Arc
Even the famous Arc de Triomphe is in pitiful condition. One half of the top is being
restored and at night the lights are no more...
17. Seine
View of the Pont du Neuf and the Ile de Cité at the Seine at dawn
18. Night
The Hotel de Ville at the end of the blue hour
19.-21. Strawinsky
Ingenious construction based on the famous artist. A great pleasure for water loving
photographers
